From an early age, Tom has had an endless fascination
with the dissection of electronics in terms of how and
why things work. Tom credits his love of taking things
apart and putting them back together as the core of
his success in applying his problem solving abilities
to the unique challenges of Ambient’s customers.
Prior to Ambient, Tom had a variety of experiences
from serving as the Audio Engineer for several touring
musical acts to coordinating microwave and satellite
communications technologies for Rhode Island television
station WLNE, an ABC affiliate.
Tim Quigley is Vice President of Ambient
and oversees the Company’s Marketing and Finance
initiatives. Upon graduating from the University of
Rhode Island, Tim spent several years teaching high
school English. This experience has proved invaluable
for Tim as he focuses a great deal of time and attention
on making sure that Ambient’s complex technologies
and solutions are explained and marketed in terms that
are easy to understand among Ambient’s customers,
partners and non-technical personnel.
An accomplished musician, Tim knows what its like
to be on both sides of the stage and draws upon this
mindset when recommending options for event production
to Ambient’s customers. Outside of Ambient, Tim
plays guitar with Erik
Narwhal and the Manatees and has worked with such
notable acts as Cheap Trick, Tower of Power, Sammy Hagar,
and Spin Doctors. The band also performs at some of
the world's top casinos, including Foxwoods and The
Luxor in Las Vegas.

of Ambient and oversees the Company’s Operations.
Tim’s vast prior experience in installing and
servicing security, fire alarm, access control and closed
circuit television systems has played a tremendous role
in the development of Ambient’s installation expertise
and techniques.
A born manager, Tim dedicates a significant amount
of his time and attention to ensuring that all Ambient
customers receive the highest levels of quality and
service. Although Tim relies heavily on his experience
as a systems installer and audio technician, he credits
his ability to “trust his senses over gauges and
meters” with providing him an edge.
A musician for over twenty years, Tim has contributed
his vocal and bass guitar playing talents to several
bands and has performed at venues including Foxwoods
Casino and The Providence Performing Arts Center.
